Daring Baker’s Challenge time! This month – Empanadas!

Not as successful as the swans last month, I have to say.

This month we were given a recipe for the dough and the freedom to use any filling we wanted to. I searched for what seemed like hours (but was probably less than a half an hour) for a filling recipe that sounded appealing and I couldn’t really find anything that knocked my socks off. I finally decided on just a beef filling. The empanada was “fine” the filling was “fine” but it didn’t wow me. ┬áThat being said, I’m learning that I really love working with different types of bread dough.
